The couch and loveseat began ripping at the seams after two years of ownership. Nebraska Furnature Mart sold me a couch and loveseat. ![]() The store has become intransigent in it's mediation on this issue: The behavior does not rise above the level of a used car salesman. What the sales team says is a lie: what they write/document is a lie and they will make things right is a bigger lie. I share this story so others can learn from my disaster. The others were taken away for the install as the store instructed. The store says I can have a refund ONLY AND ONLY IF: they can take away the ONLY window coverings I have for the windows. I reached out to the store and the window department manager was so rude: she informed me that they work very well with the BBB: No fear or concern ( just think about that) It was the same measurements I showed her day one of discussing the project. He promised that he would make things right by going to the store on my behalf and if that did not work: he would go over the store sales team head back to Hunter DouglasĪfter he conferred with the deceptive salesperson: He then sent me a text from a burner number to quote what she put in an email about the window measurements. He took it apart presuming it was just an error. These lies were disclosed after the incorrect product was installed.Ī word about the installer: He had no clue about the product. I can now report: She lied-over and over and over again Next I questioned the sales person about feasability of acheiving project goals. ![]() I arrived in the store with photos and measurements of the proposed project. Sadly, I made the mistake of spending thousands of dollars on Hunter Douglas shades. This store has demonstrated a lack of ethics towards customers perceived as poor or marginalized because of their ethnic background.
